Creating memories in the Maresme

Since 1977 we have welcomed families, travellers and nature lovers just steps from the sea and the mountains.

In 1977 we opened the doors of Camping El Carlitos for the first time, with a very clear ambition: to offer a peaceful, welcoming family retreat where you could switch off from your routine and enjoy the true spirit of Mediterranean camping.

Set in a privileged spot in Arenys de Mar, just a 5-minute walk from the sea and sheltered by the Montnegre mountain range, we were founded on the belief that the best holiday spot is one that makes you feel at home from the very first minute.

What began as a traditional camping ground with pitches surrounded by greenery has evolved generation after generation. Over the decades, at El Carlitos we have moved with the times, adding fully equipped mobile homes, sports areas, a swimming pool and leisure spaces, but without ever losing our essence: warm, personal service, family life together, and a passion for the natural surroundings around us.

Today, almost half a century on, we are proud to remain a landmark destination between Barcelona and Girona for anyone looking to relax by the sea, explore mountain trails or share unforgettable family moments.
